Jerez police deploy drones for fire prevention surveillance

The Jerez Local Police are utilizing a specialized drone unit to monitor high-risk areas for fire prevention. This aerial surveillance initiative targets both rural environments and specific urban locations to detect potential fire hazards in real time.

Key monitored areas include the parks of La Suara, Las Aguilillas, and Santa Teresa, as well as Montecastillo, the Estella road, and the surroundings of the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit. Within the urban center, the Laguna de Torrox and Vallesequillo park are also under special observation. This deployment is part of a municipal prevention campaign and follows environmental directives from the Provincial Prosecutor's Office.
