Jermey Shane Gramm arrested on four counts of first-degree rape

Jermey Shane Gramm, 38, has been arrested on four counts of first-degree rape following an investigation by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit.

The investigation began after a counselor reported alleged sexual abuse to the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. The victim, currently 8 years old, was 6 at the time of the alleged offenses and was reportedly nonverbal during that period. The child later disclosed the abuse to a counselor after learning to communicate verbally through therapy.

A forensic interview was conducted at the Gingerbread House Children's Advocacy Center in Shreveport to gather details. Gramm has been booked into the Caddo Correctional Center, and the investigation remains ongoing.
