Jerry Jeudy faces trade rumors amid limited role with Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy faces uncertainty regarding his future with the team following a period of minimal offensive involvement. Through the first three games of the 2026 season, Jeudy has recorded only two receptions for four yards and has not caught a pass since the season opener.

The Browns have increasingly relied on rookie receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, who have combined for 21 receptions and 275 yards. Due to this shift, analysts suggest Jeudy could be traded for a relatively low return, such as a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Potential trade suitors include the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.

Despite the trade speculation, Jeudy has an opportunity to impact the upcoming Thursday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Observers suggest that if quarterback Deshaun Watson establishes early rhythm through short completions to Jeudy, it could revitalize the veteran receiver's role in the offense.
