Jerry Jones backs Tony Romo after Wisconsin OWI arrest

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and CBS analyst Tony Romo was arrested on July 23 in Wisconsin on charges of operating while intoxicated and possessing an open container of alcohol. CBS Sports subsequently placed him on leave. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones publicly defended Romo, saying he has been in contact with the former quarterback and believes he will “work through” the incident. Jones praised Romo’s character, noting, “Do you think Tony Romo knows how to get up when he gets knocked down?
