Jerry Meehan hosts music workshop in Mattersburg

Jerry Meehan, the bassist for Robbie Williams, conducted an exclusive music workshop for students in Mattersburg, Austria. The event, held at the Mattersburg Central Music School and the local youth center, provided young musicians with practical insights into the life of a professional international performer.

During the session, students engaged with Meehan by asking questions regarding career paths in successful bands, touring requirements, and the daily routines of global musicians. The workshop concluded with a collaborative performance of the hit song ‘Let Me Entertain You’ featuring the local music school band and choir.

The visit was organized through a cooperation between the municipality, the music school, the Mattersburg Gymnasium, and the youth center, facilitated by music manager Stefan Trenker. Meehan joined the event for a single day between scheduled engagements in Brazil, Mexico, and New Zealand.
