Jerusalem children participate in summer camp program in Morocco
Fifty children from Jerusalem, aged 11 to 14, are participating in the 17th annual summer camp organized by the Al Quds Bait al-Mal Agency under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. The program, themed ‘Minaret of Peace,’ is being held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
The participants recently completed a tour of Casablanca, visiting the Hassan II Mosque to learn about Moroccan architectural heritage, the Habous district to explore traditional crafts, and the Casablanca Finance City. The tour also included visits to the Ain Diab corniche and Bouskoura.
Prior to the Casablanca leg, the group visited the Royal Guard headquarters at Mechouar Saïd in Rabat. During this visit, the children explored the Royal Guard Museum, observed equestrian displays, and learned about the history of the Royal Guard, which dates back to the Idrisid era. The program aims to provide educational and cultural exposure to Moroccan heritage and social life.
