Jerusalem driver dies after his car rolled onto him in Bucharim neighborhood
A man in his 30s was killed on Friday afternoon in Jerusalem's Bucharim neighborhood when his vehicle began rolling backward and struck him after he had exited. The incident occurred on Adoniyahu HaKohen Street.
Magen David Adom received the emergency call at 4:03 p.m., and responders found the victim trapped beneath the car, unconscious and without a pulse. United Hatzalah and volunteer rescuers extricated him and provided prolonged resuscitation while transporting him to Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center. Despite intensive medical efforts, doctors pronounced him dead at the hospital. Police are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident.
