Jerusalem hosts 9/11 memorial ceremony at Arazim Valley
To mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks, a memorial ceremony was held at the Arazim Valley Memorial in Jerusalem. The event was organized by Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF), Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA), and the United States Embassy in Israel.
The Arazim Valley Living Memorial is noted as the only memorial site outside the United States that includes the names of all the victims of the 2001 attacks. The monument serves as a symbol of the relationship between Israel and the United States, centered on shared democratic values and a collective stance against terrorism.
Attendees included U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, KKL-JNF Chairman Eyal Ostrinsky, and JNF-USA CEO Russell F. Robinson, among other officials and distinguished guests. The ceremony featured wreath-laying and musical performances by the Israel Police Orchestra and the Special in Uniform band.
