Jerzy Brzęczek declined Widzew Łódź coaching offer
Jerzy Brzęczek reportedly declined an offer to manage Widzew Łódź in September following the departure of Aleksandar Vuković. While the club ultimately appointed Mateusz Stolarski, Brzęczek was considered a top candidate alongside Adrian Siemieniec.
Brzęczek has remained with the Poland U-21 national team, where he has secured eight consecutive victories in European Championship qualifiers. His recent success with the youth squad has fueled speculation regarding his future. Former player Artur Wichniarek suggested that a return to the senior Polish national team could be a matter of time, noting the increasing pressure surrounding current head coach Jan Urban. However, no official decision has been made by the Polish Football Association regarding the senior team's leadership.
