Jesi hosts launch of cycling book focused on public water sources

The book “Pedalando di fonte in fonte” was presented in Jesi, documenting seven cycling itineraries through 32 municipalities in the province of Ancona. The publication is part of the “L’acqua non va per l’insù” project, which was developed by ATA Rifiuti, AATO 2, and Viva Servizi, in collaboration with the Fondazione Michele Scarponi and supported by Fondazione Cariverona.

Launched in 2022, the initiative maps public fountains, water kiosks, and businesses where citizens can refill water bottles. The project aims to encourage the use of local public water sources to reduce the consumption of single-use plastic bottles and promote the discovery of local territories through their water networks.
