Treviglio launches September summer recreational centers for students

The municipality of Treviglio has launched its September Summer Recreational Centers (Cre settembrini) to provide activities for children during the period before schools reopen. The initiative saw a high turnout on its first day, with 96 participants in total.

The program includes the “Aspettando la campanella” initiative for primary school students, which recorded 62 enrollments, and the free “Extra-Estate” project for middle school students, which attracted over 30 participants.

The service is a collaborative effort between the municipal administration, the local parish, and the third sector, utilizing spaces provided by the Fondazione Portaluppi. Local officials, including Vice Mayor Pinuccia Prandina, noted that the high demand confirms a significant need for such services, prompting discussions about expanding the program next year to better support working families.
