Jesi woman reported for stealing and using credit card

A 25-year-old woman has been reported to judicial authorities after allegedly stealing a credit card in Jesi, Italy. The incident occurred in August when a pensioner inadvertently left her credit card near a shop counter in the city center.

According to the Carabinieri, the woman found the card and used it to pay for a significant purchase instead of returning it. The victim discovered the loss and the unauthorized transaction later, leading her to file a formal complaint. Investigators were able to identify the suspect by analyzing video surveillance footage from the store. The woman faces charges of theft and the improper use of non-cash payment instruments.
