Jesikah Suggs, writer for ‘My Life With The Walter Boys’, dies at 32

Jesikah Suggs, a writer and producer for the Netflix series ‘My Life With The Walter Boys’, has died at the age of 32. She passed away at her home in Studio City, California, following an eight-year battle with breast cancer.

Suggs, a Dallas native, had worked on the family drama as a story editor and later as a co-producer for seasons two and three. At the time of her death, she was reportedly working on the upcoming fourth season of the show. Her career included previous work on NBC’s ‘Parenthood’ and an internship for ‘Big Brother’.

Her sister and frequent collaborator, Liz Suggs, described her as someone who “courageously endured and triumphed” through her treatments, noting that she continued to show up for work every day despite her diagnosis and the subsequent metastasis of the cancer.
