Jesolo man arrested for domestic abuse and sexual violence

A man has been placed in pretrial detention following investigations by the State Police in Jesolo, Italy, for alleged domestic abuse and sexual violence. The case was handled under the ‘Codice Rosso’ (Red Code) protocols, a legal framework designed to accelerate protection for victims of domestic and gender-based violence.

Following a report to the Jesolo Police Station, investigators reconstructed a pattern of repeated physical and verbal aggression within the household. The situation reportedly escalated during a recent argument over trivial matters, culminating in an alleged sexual assault against the woman.

The victim and her minor children have been moved to a protected facility to ensure their safety and provide them with material and psychological support.
