Jesolo police charge motorcyclist after high‑speed chase on Via Adriatico

On the morning of Thursday, July 30, officers of the Polizia Locale di Jesolo conducted a road check along Via Adriatico in the Lido di Jesolo. When a motorcyclist was ordered to stop, he accelerated, fled at high speed and performed numerous overtakes near intersections, speed bumps and curves, creating a serious danger for the police and other road users.

Through coordinated patrols, the use of onboard technology and subsequent field checks, the police located the motorcycle, seized it and identified the rider. The motorcyclist has been charged with evading police, resisting arrest and a series of traffic violations, including failure to stop at an order, driving with an expired vehicle inspection and other infractions. The case has been referred to the judicial authority.
