Jesús Calleja recounts adopting his son from Nepal

Spanish presenter Jesús Calleja has shared reflections regarding his son Ganesh, whom he adopted from Nepal in the 1990s. Calleja recounted the difficult circumstances surrounding their meeting and the boy's subsequent relocation to Spain.

During a trip to Nepal in the late 1990s, Calleja met Ganesh, who was seven years old at the time and working as a tour guide to support himself. Upon a later reunion, Calleja found the boy living in precarious conditions in an orphanage, where he was suffering from tuberculosis. Due to these health concerns and the poor living environment, Calleja decided to bring him to Spain.
