Jesús Esteva Medina leads 101st anniversary of Día del Caminero

Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport (SICT), led the 101st anniversary celebrations of 'Día del Caminero' at the Monumento al Caminero. During the ceremony, Esteva Medina honored the workers responsible for building and maintaining Mexico's road networks.

Esteva Medina conveyed congratulations from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and noted the significant responsibility placed upon the SICT. He highlighted the implementation of the National Highway Conservation Program, known as 'Bachetón,' stating that resources were secured within 15 days of the current administration's start to address the road network.

The event also served to honor the memory of past officials, including former Secretary Daniel Díaz Díaz, and those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
