Jess Fishlock breaks Megan Rapinoe’s Seattle Reign scoring record

Jess Fishlock scored two goals to break Megan Rapinoe’s career goal-scoring record for the Seattle Reign during a 2-0 victory over the Boston Legacy. Fishlock, who has played with the Reign since the NWSL’s inaugural 2013 season, reached her 51st and 52nd career goals with long-range strikes in the 23rd and 64th minutes, respectively.

The win moves the Reign into sixth place in the NWSL standings. The loss officially eliminated the Boston Legacy from playoff contention.

In other NWSL action, Gotham FC defeated the Chicago Stars 3-1, led by two goals from Jaedyn Shaw and one from Sam Kerr. Additionally, the San Diego Wave secured a 2-0 shutout against Racing Louisville, with goals from Gia Corley and Ludmila.
