Jesús Galván receives two-match suspension for Copa Federación

Recreativo de Huelva coach Jesús Galván has received a two-match suspension that will be served exclusively during the Copa Federación. The disciplinary ruling follows a confrontation during a match against Cacereño, where Galván was reported to have grabbed the opposing goalkeeper coach, Alberto Tienza, by the neck. The altercation resulted in Tienza's shirt being torn.

Because the disciplinary judge classified the conduct as a minor offense under the RFEF Disciplinary Code, the suspension does not carry over to league matches, allowing Galván to continue managing the team in league play. However, he will miss the Copa Federación quarter-final against Conil on September 30 and potentially the semi-final on October 14.

Additionally, player Manuel Bonaque will be unavailable for the match against Conil following a red card received during the same fixture.
