Jesús María and Sueca Municipalities Accelerate Road Repair Work

The municipal government of Jesús María, Mexico, has intensified road‑paving operations after heavy rains, completing more than 250 pothole repairs in July and resurfacing roughly 4,000 square metres of streets such as Avenida Alejandro de la Cruz and Paseo de los Chicahuales. The works are carried out by four work crews using a local hot‑asphalt plant to ensure rapid response and improve safety for road users.

In Sueca, Spain, the town council has begun a three‑week pavement renovation on Calle Virgen María, a central thoroughfare with high traffic volume. The project will proceed in phases, temporarily closing sections of the street to traffic. Mayor Julián Sáez explained, "Esta intervención empieza ahora, una vez finalizadas las obras de la carretera, para reducir el impacto sobre el tráfico rodado en la población," emphasizing the timing during the summer to minimise disruption. The works aim to repair the pavement surface and improve vehicular safety.
