Jess Pendrey regrets £8,000 Love Island‑inspired cosmetic makeover

Jess Pendrey, a 21‑year‑old bartender from Brighton, says she spent around £8,000 on a series of cosmetic procedures over three years after being inspired by former Love Island contestants, particularly Lucinda Strafford. The treatments included lip, chin, jaw and cheek fillers, nose filler, masseter Botox, composite bonding in Turkey, a £4,500 breast augmentation and non‑surgical body‑contouring sessions.

Working as a waitress and bar staff, Pendrey says almost every spare penny went toward the next appointment. She now feels unrecognisable in old photographs, regrets the extensive alterations and plans to have her lip filler dissolved while embracing a more natural appearance.
