Jesús scheduled for critical biostimulator surgery in Argentina

Jesús, a 17-year-old from Catriel, has been scheduled for a critical surgery to implant a biostimulator at the Sanatorio Juan XXIII in General Roca. The procedure is expected to take place on October 29.

Jesús suffered a severe accident at age 11 while riding a horse, resulting in progressive neurological complications. Despite his condition, he has continued his secondary education from home using a mobile phone, maintaining high academic marks.

The Ministry of Health and IPROSS coordinated the procurement of the biostimulator, which is valued at over 80 million pesos. His mother, Ana Becerra, expressed relief following the confirmation of the surgery date after years of waiting.
