Jesús Vázquez discusses career shifts and hosting Premios Juventud

Spanish television presenter Jesús Vázquez has shared reflections on his career transitions and early education. In a recent interview, Vázquez revealed that he initially studied Veterinary Medicine due to an interest in animals but ultimately decided not to complete the degree, noting that it was not his true calling. He observed that the academic landscape has changed significantly since the 1980s, moving from rigid choices between sciences and humanities to a more diversified system of specialized degrees.

Vázquez also addressed his professional future, stating that he seriously considered retiring from television a year ago following his departure from Mediaset. However, he noted that his career has since entered a new phase, specifically highlighting his opportunity to work with Univision. He is set to host the first European edition of the Premios Juventud in Marbella, Spain, alongside co-hosts Clarissa Molina and Alejandra Espinoza.
