Jesse Bisiwu ruled out of Barcelona-Elche clash due to registration

FC Barcelona winger Jesse Bisiwu will miss the upcoming match against Elche due to registration issues. Despite manager Hansi Flick considering the 18-year-old as a potential substitute, bureaucratic matters have prevented his timely registration for the La Liga fixture.

Barcelona officials do not view the situation as a major concern and expect a resolution shortly. Bisiwu, who recently joined from Club Brugge for €8.5 million, has impressed during pre-season, notably scoring twice in a match against FC Basel.

In terms of international prospects, Bisiwu has opted to pursue a career with the Belgian national team. Although he has Ghanaian roots and was approached by the Ghanaian football association, he has declined their interest to focus on playing for Belgium.
