Jesse Hogan traded from GWS to Collingwood
Jesse Hogan has become the first player traded during the 2026 AFL trade period, moving from Greater Western Sydney to Collingwood. The Magpies secured the 2024 Coleman Medallist in exchange for pick No. 75.
Hogan, who has played for Melbourne, Fremantle, and GWS, is set to become only the 14th player in the AFL era and the fourth this century to represent four different clubs. He has signed a two-year deal with Collingwood following six seasons at the Giants.
The trade marks the beginning of a window that runs until October 14. Other potential moves being discussed in the market include Scott Pendlebury's possible move to Gold Coast and several other player transfers involving clubs such as Carlton, Essendon, and St Kilda.
