Jesse Huerta launches new instrumental project Jesse and the Supernovas

Mexican musician and producer Jesse Huerta has launched a new professional project titled ‘Jesse and the Supernovas’ with the release of the track ‘Génesis’. The song, released on YouTube, features a primarily instrumental composition and a futuristic science fiction visual aesthetic.

This release marks a departure from the pop style associated with his long-standing career in the duo Jesse & Joy, from which he has taken a temporary hiatus. The project, which had been developing under the alias ‘Sombrero’, allows Huerta to focus on his roles as a composer and producer. The debut has drawn mixed reactions from fans, ranging from praise for the production to nostalgia for the duo’s traditional sound.
