Jesse James Dupree to Honor 9/11 Firefighter at Sturgis Rally

Rock musician Jesse James Dupree, frontman of Jackyl, discussed plans for the 86th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally during an interview with Loudwire Nights. He announced that former New York firefighter Tim Duffy, who survived the September 11 attacks, will join Dupree onstage at the Full Throttle Saloon on Aug. 13. Duffy’s Harley‑Davidson, rebuilt by Harley‑Davidson, will be displayed as part of a tribute to first‑responders. Dupree highlighted the rally’s lineup, including acts such as Blackberry Smoke and Rob Zombie, and described the Black Hills setting of the event. The tribute marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and aims to honor the heroism of emergency personnel.
