Jesse & Joy to continue scheduled tours despite Jesse Huerta's hiatus

Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy is navigating a professional hiatus following Jesse Huerta’s decision to step away from the project to focus on his family and personal well-being. While the move has sparked speculation regarding a definitive split, Jesse has clarified that his break is specifically from the duo and not from music itself. He has introduced a new musical project, ‘Jesse and the Supernovas’, which was planned months in advance.

Despite the hiatus, the duo will fulfill previously scheduled commitments. Joy Huerta has confirmed she will continue with planned performances, including upcoming shows in Chile and a Christmas concert at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico. The duo’s ‘Despecho Tour’ continues to reach international audiences, with scheduled dates in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina through 2026.

Jesse’s daughter, Hanna, recently shared supportive messages for her parents on social media, which fans interpreted as a sign of family unity amidst the transition.
