Jesse Love wins NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Phoenix Raceway

Jesse Love secured a pivotal victory in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Timberland PRO 200 at Phoenix Raceway, marking his second win of the 2026 season. Driving the No. 2 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, Love dominated the one-mile oval and swept the stages, ultimately holding off a late charge from Sam Mayer to win by 0.128 seconds.

The race significantly altered the championship standings. Entering the event, Sheldon Creed held a two-point lead in the standings, but a mechanical issue during a Stage 1 caution forced his car to lose power. After spending multiple laps on pit road for repairs, Creed finished 32nd, dropping him to fourth in the championship race, trailing Love by 59 points.

With Love's win, he has unofficially taken the points lead in the O'Reilly Chase, holding a 36-point advantage over Justin Allgaier. The championship battle moves to Talladega Superspeedway with three races remaining in the season.
