Jessica Chastain stars in new horror film trailer ‘Mammina’

A new trailer has been released for the horror film ‘Mammina’, directed by Rob Savage and produced by James Wan for Blumhouse and Atomic Monster. The film is an adaptation of Josh Malerman’s novel ‘Incidents Around the House’.

The story follows Bela, an eight-year-old girl who encounters a sinister entity that emerges from her bedroom closet and takes on the appearance of her mother. Oscar winner Jessica Chastain stars in a dual role, portraying both the child's real mother and the terrifying entity known as ‘Mammina’.

The trailer highlights the psychological terror and increasing aggression of the entity, utilizing unsettling imagery such as a ball pit to build tension. The film features a cast including Jay Duplass, Arabella Olivia Clark, Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed, and Karen Allen. Universal Pictures is handling distribution.
