Jessica Edwards named Executive Director of Woodstock Film Festival

The 27th annual Woodstock Film Festival has concluded with the appointment of Jessica Edwards as the new executive director. Edwards succeeds co-founder Meira Blaustein, who has led the festival since its inception in 2000.

Blaustein received a special Honorary Maverick Award in recognition of her leadership and legacy. Board president Claude Dal Farra described Edwards as the natural successor, noting her ability to maintain the festival’s independent spirit and connection to the Hudson Valley while providing new energy for future growth.

Edwards, a filmmaker, distribution consultant, and former publicist, expressed her intention to build on the founders’ legacy by connecting international filmmakers and industry partners with local audiences.
