Jessica Henwick Declines Return as Colleen Wing in Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

Actress Jessica Henwick, who portrayed Colleen Wing in Netflix's Iron Fist and The Defenders, has confirmed she discussed a possible return with Marvel Studios and repeatedly said she would love to come back. She told Inverse, "I've said multiple times over the years, I would love to come back... but for me, her story ended with her going off into the sunset."

Henwick ultimately turned down the opportunity to appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, stating she will only reprise the role if the storyline offers a worthy expansion. She explained that the character ended on a "really great note" and she does not want to return unless it makes narrative sense. Consequently, Season 3 will proceed without Colleen Wing, while the future of the series beyond that remains uncertain.
