Jessica Inchude sets shot put record at Portuguese Championships in Lisbon

Jessica Inchude of Sporting Club threw a new personal and championship record of 19.62 metres in the shot put at the final day of the Portuguese National Championships in Lisbon, securing her fourth national title. The mark surpassed the previous championship record held by Auriol Dongmo (18.35 m) by nine centimetres and moves Inchude into the top‑100 European all‑time list, currently 91st.

Other highlights of the competition included Isaac Nader winning his third 800 m title in 1:46.11, Salomé Afonso capturing her sixth 800 m crown in 2:04.92, Arialis Martinez earning her first national title in the 200 m with 23.30 s, and Delvis Canda achieving his fifth consecutive 200 m victory in 20.46 s. Laura Taborda won the women's 3000 m steeplechase for a third time, and Lourenço Rodrigues topped the men’s 3000 m steeplechase field.
