Jessica Killin leads Jeff Crank in Colorado's 5th District poll
New polling indicates that Democratic candidate Jessica Killin is leading Republican incumbent Jeff Crank in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. In a two-way survey conducted between October 14 and October 18, Killin holds 46% of the vote compared to Crank’s 44%.
The results suggest a significant shift in a district that has historically been Republican-leaning. In 2024, Crank won the seat by 14 percentage points, and Donald Trump won El Paso County by approximately 10 points.
In response to the polling, political commentators have noted that Crank has criticized Democratic canvassing methods. However, critics point out that Crank’s own campaign has utilized paid canvassing operations through organizations such as Americans for Prosperity.
