Jessica Lange criticizes FX over ‘American Horror Story’ working conditions

During a panel discussion at PaleyFest in New York City, actress Jessica Lange criticized the production of the television series ‘American Horror Story’ for a lack of generosity regarding working conditions.

Lange recalled filming the third season, ‘Coven’, in New Orleans, noting that actors were required to drive themselves home after long night shifts. She stated that cast members often had to drive around 4:00 or 5:00 AM, parking in the French Quarter and finding their own way back because the production was ‘too damn stingy’ to provide transportation services.

Actress Sarah Paulson, who was present on the panel, corroborated the account. FX has not issued a comment regarding the allegations.
