Jessica Lange hints at potential retirement from acting
Actress Jessica Lange has suggested that her nearly five-decade career may be nearing its conclusion. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 77-year-old icon stated, “I actually feel like I’m coming to an end.”
Lange noted that her recent film, an adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night, could potentially serve as her final role. She expressed frustration with the current film industry, noting that it has become increasingly difficult to get meaningful projects off the ground, particularly those that align with her interests.
While she has several projects in development, Lange remains uncertain if they will reach production. Her recent work includes the film Long Day’s Journey into Night and her return to the television series American Horror Story for its 13th season.
