Jessica Mila addresses Padar Island travel controversy

Indonesian actress Jessica Mila has addressed public scrutiny regarding her recent family trip to Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. The controversy arose after she visited Padar Island during a period when the Labuan Bajo Port Authority (KSOP) had issued notices restricting tourist voyages to several destinations, including Padar and Komodo Islands, from August 6 to 10, 2026, due to weather conditions.

Mila clarified that her group was not informed of any travel restrictions by their ship captain. She noted that the weather appeared favorable during their journey and that they observed numerous other tourist vessels and travelers docking at and visiting Padar Island, which led them to believe travel was permitted.

Prior to her trip to Indonesia, Mila also shared highlights from a summer vacation in Italy with her husband, Yakup Hasibuan, and their daughter, Kyarra Arunika Hasibuan, showcasing various summer fashion styles during their travels through the country.
