Jessica Schöne supports Stiftung Lesen reading campaign
Moderator Jessica Schöne is supporting a reading campaign organized by the Stiftung Lesen. Schöne, who enjoys crime novels, romances, and biographies, expressed that reading allows for an escape from daily life and mental stillness.
Schöne noted that she prefers books over film adaptations because the reader's mind creates the story. She cited her father as her role model for reading aloud, which inspired her to participate in reading competitions from a young age.
The campaign, titled ‘I read aloud - you too?’, is being conducted in partnership with a bookstore chain. Other prominent figures supporting the initiative include comedian Bülent Ceylan, musician Peter Maffay, and entrepreneur Saliha Ozcan.
