Fox News co-host Jessica Tarlov expressed in an interview with The New Yorker that she wishes Donald Trump had won the 2020 presidential election. Tarlov argued that if Trump had served another term, Democrats might have been “done” with him by now, rather than facing his current political resurgence.

Tarlov compared Trump’s growth in influence over the last four years to the Disney villain Ursula, noting that he has established a strong cadre of advisors. She also suggested that without the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump might have secured another term.

Additionally, Tarlov stated that she becomes emotional and is “mostly in tears” when reading Donald Trump’s social media attacks against her. She specifically noted that threats regarding her employment at Fox News are particularly distressing.
