Jessie Duncan sought by Shreveport police for theft

The Shreveport Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Jessie Duncan following an investigation into a fraudulent tree removal service. Duncan is charged with one count of theft after allegedly taking $2,000 from a homeowner in March 2026 for work that was never performed.

Investigators report that after receiving the full payment, Duncan provided various excuses for the delay in service. Although he reportedly agreed to return the funds to avoid criminal charges, he failed to attend two scheduled meetings with police to deliver a cashier’s check.

Authorities have noted that Duncan has a criminal history involving theft, forgery, and issuing worthless checks, along with pending cases for monetary instrument abuse. Police are urging the public to exercise caution when entering business agreements with him.
