Singer Jessie J has announced a temporary break from social media to focus on her physical and emotional recovery. The 38-year-old artist is preparing for her second cancer reconstruction surgery following her battle with breast cancer.

Reflecting on an intense two-year period, the singer noted that she has released an album, moved from the United States to the United Kingdom, toured globally, and navigated a breakup while raising her three-year-old son. She described the hiatus as a “digital detox” intended to allow her “mind, body and heart” to rest and recharge as she prioritizes her health and family.
