Jessie J interrupts festival set to address crowd fight

British singer Jessie J interrupted her performance at the Party in the Paddock festival in the United Kingdom to address a physical altercation between attendees in the crowd.

During her set, the artist initially attempted to de-escalate the situation by urging the individuals involved to calm down, citing alcohol and ego as the cause. She specifically noted the presence of children in the audience and asked the crowd not to waste time on ‘bad energy.’

When the fighting persisted, Jessie J requested that festival security immediately remove the individuals from the venue so the show could continue for the paying audience. She reportedly offered to pay for their Uber to facilitate their departure and asked the crowd to clear a path for security to escort them out.
