Jesurun Rak-Sakyi nearing permanent Charlton Athletic move

Charlton Athletic is finalizing a permanent deal to sign winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace. The 23-year-old is reportedly undergoing a medical to complete the transfer.

Rak-Sakyi previously played for Charlton on loan during the 2022-23 season, where he recorded 15 goals and 8 or 9 assists in 49 appearances. Following his successful stint with the Addicks, he moved to Premier League side Crystal Palace, though he has since struggled to secure consistent first-team opportunities and has spent time on loan at Stoke City and Caykur Rizespor.

A Ghana international, Rak-Sakyi recently made his senior debut for the Black Stars in March 2026. The move is expected to provide the winger with the regular playing time necessary to continue his development and maintain his standing with the Ghana national team.
