Jesus Sanchez takes responsibility for defensive errors in Blue Jays loss

In the first inning, Sanchez struggled to track a fly ball by Junior Caminero after it flew near the stadium's catwalks and against the white roof, resulting in a ground-rule double. In the fourth inning, Sanchez lost sight of a ball due to glare from the sun and the stadium lighting, which played a role in a five-run inning for the Rays.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider defended the $6.8 million player, stating that mistakes are expected and that the team will continue to support him as he adapts to his defensive duties in left field.
