JetBlue launches daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Cali

JetBlue has launched daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida and Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Cali, Colombia. The new service, operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, aims to increase connectivity between the United States and southwestern Colombia.

This expansion makes Cali the airline’s fourth destination in Colombia, joining existing routes to Cartagena, Medellín, and Barranquilla. The move follows the recent introduction of nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Barranquilla earlier in October. According to the airline, Latin America and the Caribbean represent approximately one-third of JetBlue’s total operational capacity.

Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s senior vice president of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, stated that the addition of Cali is a significant milestone in the company’s growth within Colombia, providing more options for travelers to connect through Fort Lauderdale to various destinations across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
