Jetex to open VIP lounge at Sofia Airport

Jetex and SOF Connect have signed an agreement to develop and operate a new VIP lounge at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport in Bulgaria. Located in the western wing of Terminal 1, the facility will feature a private entrance and a collection of designed lounges intended to provide premium services for both private aviation guests and commercial airline passengers.

The project is expected to welcome its first guests in the fourth quarter of 2026. Jetex anticipates the Sofia location will serve more than 30,000 passengers by 2027. This expansion aims to support Sofia's evolution into a regional aviation hub as the airport seeks to increase its annual capacity from eight million to 20 million passengers.
