Jetour launches Zongheng G700 SUV with Huawei smart driving tech
Jetour has officially launched the updated Zongheng G700 plug-in hybrid SUV in China, with starting prices set at 329,900 yuan (approximately $48,500). The vehicle, part of the Chery-owned Jetour brand, maintains its signature boxy silhouette and rear-mounted spare tire while introducing several design and technological refinements.
Key updates include a cleaner grille design, body-colored bumpers and side skirts, and revised wheel designs. The interior has been upgraded with premium materials and a high-tech cockpit featuring a 35.4-inch ‘Horizon’ display alongside a 15.6-inch 2.5K central multimedia tablet, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip. Luxury amenities include a Lexicon audio system, an internal refrigerator, and dual 50W wireless chargers.
A major highlight is the integration of Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5.0 intelligent driving system, which utilizes lidar technology for advanced driver assistance. The G700 utilizes a 2.0T plug-in hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive. Battery options provided by CATL offer varying ranges, including versions with 150 km and 260 km CLTC cycles.
