Jetour launches T2 i-DM hybrid SUV with 1,200 km range

Chinese automaker Jetour introduced the T2 i-DM, a plug‑in hybrid adventure SUV that keeps the brand’s boxy design while adding an Intelligent Dual‑Mode powertrain. The vehicle uses a hardtop‑cage monocoque body with about 80 % high‑strength steel, a static load capacity of 300 kg and torsional rigidity of 32,000 Nm/°.

The T2 i-DM is marketed with a claimed electric‑plus‑fuel range of roughly 1,200 km. Global sales of the conventional Jetour T2 have already exceeded 500,000 units in 33 months, and the model was the top‑selling Chinese car in Indonesia’s internal‑combustion‑engine segment in the first half of 2026.

At the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (GIIAS), Jetour announced a suite of after‑sales benefits for the T2 i-DM, including a six‑year unlimited‑kilometre warranty, an eight‑year or 160,000‑km battery warranty, and free periodic maintenance for three years or up to 30,000 km. The brand also highlighted a 2,000‑square‑metre parts distribution centre with over 31,000 items, 24‑hour customer‑care, and roadside‑assistance services. Promotional pricing for the T1 and T1 i‑DM models, lucky‑dip e‑wallet prizes and a Rp5 million voucher were offered to buyers during the show.
