Jetour reveals updated G700 off-road SUV with enhanced battery

Jetour has released the first official images of the updated 2027 G700, a large off-road SUV within the Zongheng family developed by Chery. The official technical unveiling is scheduled for September 29, 2026.

The updated model features several exterior design refinements, including a new body-colored front bumper, matching wheel arch covers, and a redesigned grille with larger silver accents. While the vehicle maintains its robust, boxy dimensions—5,198 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,956 mm in height—it will now feature 20-inch wheels.

Technologically, the G700 integrates Huawei’s latest ADS 5 advanced driver assistance system, supported by a lidar sensor mounted above the windshield. The vehicle continues to utilize a plug-in hybrid powertrain, now featuring an upgraded 59.45 kWh battery designed to provide significantly increased range. The interior remains largely unchanged, offering five or six-seat configurations and a familiar multimedia layout.
