Jetour T2 undergoes off-road testing in Brazil

The Chinese SUV model Jetour T2 underwent real-world off-road testing in the Brazilian jungle. The demonstration, featuring presenter Chloe from Supercar Blondie, aimed to showcase the vehicle's capabilities in difficult terrain, including mud and steep climbs.

Designed by a former Porsche designer, the T2 is positioned as a luxury SUV with off-road functionality. The testing focused on the top-line Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version, which utilizes a 1.5-liter engine paired with three electric motors to produce 597 horsepower. This model offers a driving range of up to 1,300 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Technical features highlighted during the test include the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (XWD) system, which offers eight driving modes, and a specialized 'Mode X' that detects road surfaces to adjust performance. The vehicle also includes a winch for recovery in challenging conditions.
